Once you are logged in as a Parent or Teacher, you can submit your own content to the Second Community Wednesday Newsletter.  Here's how:

How to submit information to the Second Community Wednesday Newsletter:

 

Step 1:  Login to the Parent/Teacher Zone.

 

Step 2:  In the Parent/Teacher Zone, Click on Newsletter Submission Form link.

 

Step 3: 
A: Type in a Title for your Newsletter Submission
B: Type the body of your newsletter submission in the large text box.  Please do not use colored fonts or special styles - use only Bold or Italic.
C: Click Save.  (NOTE: Once your entry is saved, only newsletter editors can make changes.  See below to Add an Image or Add a Link before saving!)


Your newsletter submission has been saved!


Our Wednesday Newsletter editors will review and edit all submissions prior to sending out the Wednesday Newsletter each week.
Deadline for newsletter submissions is the prior Friday at 5pm.

How to add an image to your newsletter submission:

To add an image to your submission, scroll down beneath the large text box and click the "Image" button. 

You will see a popup window - scroll down to "Upload".  Click "Browse" to find the image on your computer that you want to upload.  Click "Start Upload". 

 

When you see the "Upload Complete" message at the top of the popup window, click the image in the window, scroll up, and click the "Insert" button. 

Your image will be inserted.  You can click the image in the text box and drag the one of the white boxes along edges to resize the image.  To keep the aspect ratio of the image, resize from the corner.


How to add a link to your newsletter submission:

To create a link, highlight the text you want to be linked, click the link button (looks like links in a chain).

 In the popup window type in the Link URL starting with "http://"  Extra points for changing "Target" to "Open in New Window"!

 

How to make changes to a newsletter entries:

Only the newsletter editors can make changes to newsletter entries.  Once you have saved your newsletter entry, you need to contact one of our newsletter editors with any updates.  If you cannot reach a newsletter editor, you may also contact the the webmaster.
